We trust them : <strong>warming-up<\/strong> on the first day, on the second one <strong>sliding<\/strong>, and the third one for <strong>hiking <\/strong>on our way back home. <strong>Perfect program<\/strong>!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;We left right after work and got to the white paradise three hours after.&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>First day at La Rosi\u00e8re.<\/h3>\n<p>The cottage&#8217;s owners&#8217; cousin has a <a href=\"http:\/\/gite.fudral.com\/en-montagne\/sportifs\/le-ptit-mot-de-colette-sport\/\">sport boutique<\/a>. We listen to <a href=\"http:\/\/colettesport.com\/fr\/conseils\/\" target=\"_blank\">Colette&#8217;s tips<\/a>. We feel like trying <strong>crosscountry skiing<\/strong>: well it&#8217;s not as it seems, harder than <strong>downhill skiing<\/strong>. We <strong>sunbathe<\/strong> at la Buvette listening to Verdi&#8217;s beautiful language, amazing and exotic.<\/p>\n<h4>We recommend:<\/h4>\n<p>&#8211; A picnic facing the <strong>Mont-Blanc<\/strong> in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lathuile.it\/datapage.asp?id=58&amp;l=3&amp;s=I\" target=\"_blank\">Italy<\/a>, admiring sporty people skiing (or falling amazingly),<br \/>\n&#8211; A couple of Lyon at la Rosi\u00e8re &#8211; Day 2<\/p>\n<h3>Third day between villages: &#8220;les hameaux&#8221;.<\/h3>\n<p>We go for a drive on our way to Bourg Saint Maurice. At Le Miroir, we discover <strong>protected Piemont architecture<\/strong> with columns under chalets. Next at Villaroger, skiers come from the Arcs in the <strong>appletrees&#8217; fields<\/strong>. We finally get some cheese at the <strong>goat shed<\/strong> of Le Planay.<\/p>\n<h4>We recommend:<\/h4>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Le Miroir&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>authenticity <\/strong>is really worth it (even if streets are so sloping&#8230;),<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Picnic at Villaroger<\/strong> to admire on the opposite hill La Rosi\u00e8re (and the cottage!),<br \/>\n&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/villaroger.fr\/villaroger-hiver\/sentiers-decouvertes\/\" target=\"_blank\">Strolls <\/a>(and even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.savoie-tarentaise.com\/images\/stories\/envie_de_randonner\/idees_rando\/villaroger\/villaroger_2008.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">hiking <\/a>for the braves) with or without <strong>snowshoes<\/strong>,<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Beaufort at the cooperative<\/strong> before the big drive (you can find some at S\u00e9ez too).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\r\n\t<div
